Fleetika or Cartwheel

Last updated: June 2026 · compares the Fleetika Carrier plan

Cartwheel's strength rests on US delivery networks. For each order it chooses between your own driver and networks like DoorDash Drive and Uber Direct, by cost and availability. For a US restaurant chain, that's real savings. Take the model outside the US, though, where those networks don't exist, and half of Cartwheel's point disappears.

Fleetika is built for a different reality: a carrier's own fleet in Europe and Ukraine, where deliveries move on your own vehicles.

In short

The short version

Cartwheel routes each order across US delivery networks — your own driver or DoorDash Drive, Uber Direct, Grubhub — to cut cost per order, and it's strong for US restaurant delivery. The Fleetika Carrier plan is built for a different reality: a carrier's own fleet in Europe and Ukraine, dispatched like a taxi service at a fixed package price. If you're a US restaurant brand leaning on delivery networks, Cartwheel fits; if you move deliveries on your own fleet where those networks don't reach, Fleetika fits.

Strengths

Where Cartwheel is strong

Real strengths:

  • Deep US restaurant and catering delivery.
  • Cost optimisation across DoorDash Drive, Uber Direct and Grubhub.
  • POS and online-ordering integrations.

If your business is US restaurant delivery, Cartwheel is in its element. Restaurant depth, catering, POS and ordering links, access to DoorDash Drive, Uber Direct, Grubhub and local services, and the cheapest option chosen per order. It's proven with large chains, and there's little point arguing with it on its own ground.

The difference

Where the line falls

Cartwheel's whole model is tied to networks that, outside the US and a couple of countries, simply aren't there. A carrier in Ukraine or Norway has nothing to plug in.

How it works

How the Carrier package works

In the Carrier package, Fleetika works like a taxi service for your fleet. An order arrives with its route, cost and arrival time, and around it only the vehicles that can handle it — nothing extra. You assign a driver, who runs the order in F-Driver, with "driver on the way, arriving in 19 minutes" on screen. A field manager calls a vehicle from the corporate fleet through F-Manager. The customer places the order under your own brand, through a widget on your site or a customer app. Your trackers — Wialon, Teltonika, GT06 — connect as they are, and you pay a fixed fee rather than per order.

Which one

How to tell which is yours

If you’re a US restaurant brand and want to cut delivery cost with your own drivers plus DoorDash Drive, Uber Direct and Grubhub, choose Cartwheel.

If you’re a carrier in Europe moving deliveries on your own fleet, where US networks don’t apply, that’s Fleetika.

Fleetika vs Cartwheel — common questions

Is Fleetika a good Cartwheel alternative?
For a carrier in Europe or Ukraine moving deliveries on its own fleet, yes — Cartwheel's value is tied to US delivery networks that don't exist there. For a US restaurant brand using DoorDash Drive, Uber Direct and Grubhub, Cartwheel stays the better fit.
Does Fleetika connect to DoorDash Drive, Uber Direct or Grubhub?
No. Those US networks are Cartwheel's core, and outside the US they aren't available. Fleetika is built for your own fleet, where deliveries move on your own vehicles.
How is the pricing different?
Cartwheel optimizes cost per order across networks. Fleetika charges a fixed package fee by fleet size from $120/mo, with no per-order metering.
Can I keep my own GPS trackers?
Yes. Wialon, Teltonika, Sinotrack and GT06 connect natively, with no hardware to replace; a tracker on a different protocol can be added as a separate integration.
